September 26th event with Poetica did not disappoint. 

Let me walk you through the night. It was in this sweet little shop, to which I will be adding my list of places to go. Sip City Market & Bottle Shop has this energy about itself that was unmatched. It set the 'creative' tone the second you walk through the door. Side note, the Green Tea was to die for. I got one hot and one cold because I have this inner calling to have three drinks at any time, weird, I know.

Poetica was full of life as it always is. There were some amazing creative people there to share their ideas, works, and heartstrings to which pulled on every single one I have. The poems were that of a rollercoaster ride, in a good way. We had some about grief, some about love, some about standing up for yourself, and lastly one really amazing piece about how you can be the one holding yourself back. My heart was so full by the end of the night you could have thought it has never felt trials or tribulations. 

Nevertheless, Dev, the poetic genius behind it all, is setting one up for October 30th. Thats right folks....Hallow's Ev and YOUR GIRL IS READYYY!!!! I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my Hallow's Ev than with amazing people, good vibes, and I'll hold the tricks but take ALL the treats.
